Today’s featured product is Innova EVO cat food.
I do not happen to be blessed with cats that will eat homecooked or raw food. I have tried for many years to switch them over to either raw or homecooked and have failed miserably.
I have had to restort to feeding what I felt was a good quality kibble and have had no problems, but with all the pet food recalls recently, I have been even more worried about the cats diet and began looking at other kibble options for them in case my regular food was hit during the recall.
Fortunately, the cat food I normally used was not recalled (yet), but I decided to try several more foods anyway so that I had some options with the Ultra Picky Cat Crew.
Innova EVO is one of the ones that I recently switched to and I have been very happy with the results. I do rotate kibbles fairly frequently so I just filled the feeder with the bag of EVO and had no stomach upset as a result.
If your cat has been on the same food for a long time with no variety, I do recommend mixing your old kibble and the EVO initially, slowly reducing the amount of the old food over time.
The cats both seemed to like the EVO and I do think they ate somewhat less than on some of the other brands. It’s hard to tell since we free feed the cats.
EVO has no grains, thus making it less likely to be hit by a recall for those types of ingredients. It is rather high in protein so if you have a cat that needs a lower protein food, this is probably not the food for you.

Today the featured product is geared toward the pet rather than the human.
We have this slumber ball and it is made of some of the softest material I have ever felt. It truly is very silky. The bed itself is very squishy and the dogs have no problems sinking in and getting comfortable.
Unlike some slumber balls (or nuzzle nests as they are also called) that are very firm so the dogs almost have to balance to stay on them, this one is soft enough that even small dogs can get comfy on it.
It comes in 3 colors: Lavender (pictured here), Azalea (pink) and Chocolate (brown). It also comes in a 3 sizes: 18″, 22″ and 32″ and is machine washable.
